Paradise Lost:
|
The works below document a parallel exploration to Shoa’s portraiture and figurative paintings from the early 1990s to the present day. Encapsulating themes of nature, fantasy, paradise, climate change and the human condition. As well as being influenced by the School of London painters, Shoa exhibits the influence here of his wider artistic inspiration in his ‘imaginative paintings’ including Expressionism, Symbolism and Post-Impressionism.
